Oh Snap to Pumpkin Smasher Desert Run

This is a great desert cut-over that will get you from the popular UTV starting point at the end of the pavement on La Paz Valley Road to access Tougher Pipeline, Pumpkin Smasher, and Saddle Mountain Loop. Except for one deep wash entry/exit, the trail is a simple, deeply rutted, flat desert 2-track trail that begins (or ends) where Pumpkin Smasher and Saddle Mountain Loop intersect near the Pipeline maintenance road. This trail can be accessed from either end as the sections of Pumpkin Smasher and Saddle Mountain Loop are simple 2-track trails from Pipeline Road to this 3-way intersection and have no obstacles.
