Trail Overview

This trail has the best of both worlds. It starts out in a sandy wash and eventually climbs out to a desert trail. We started from Jackrabbit Wash and turned onto BLM trail 9101. As you follow the wash back, the trail numbers will change to 40071, 16019, 16018, 16017, 9098, where we exited onto the Outlaw Hill Private Gate trail. You will want to use your four wheel drive in Jackrabbit Wash as well as on this trail. The trail narrows in places, and there are large boulders in the wash that are not obstacles. Once up out of the wash on the desert terrain, the views are really nice.
