Trail Overview

Morgan Tank is a fun side trip off of FR135--great for a slow ride through the forest. Keep your eyes open and you might see deer, elk, turkey, wild horses, squirrels, and birds of all kinds. Expect some awesome views of open prairie-type areas. It's great for mountain biking, wheeling, horseback riding, and hiking.

Difficulty

Most of the road is easy and can be done in 2WD with a high-clearance vehicle. There is one point where there is a short, somewhat steep hill to climb. It's not too bad in 4WD, but add a little rain and it becomes a slick, muddy hill. Some people do not make it the first try and slide all the way back to the bottom, where there is the potential to hit a tree.

Some pretty deep puddles suggest going around unless you are willing to get stuck mostly good trail though ended up messing my truck up in a giant puddle other than that pretty fun easy trail

Dry and dusty, lots of ruts with optional easy bypass, if you go right after a rain you would need 4WD. In the dry almost any truck or jeep could make this trail.
