Trail Overview
Trail Hs58p begins off Northview Hs59p. After passing through the gate, make a right turn followed by a hard left. The opening section features ruts and a washed-out transition before the trail turns left again and straightens out across the open desert.
Expect overgrown creosote along portions of the narrow two-track. Stay centered on the trail to avoid branches reaching out to smack you in the head and arms. The route consists primarily of sandy gravel with a few loose rocks up to 6 inches in diameter, erosion areas, and plenty of whoops, so watch your speed.
The trail eventually ends near private property near Hercules Mine. A connecting 4x4 trail provides access near the mine to additional trails within this system. Watch for livestock. This is an open range.
