Trail Overview
Good desert mountain trail with lots of rock/ledge obstacles. Also send washes that could be dangerous during monsoon season. Best to visit in spring or early summer before the rainy season starts. Along the trail there are plenty of scenic views and the trail stops at the historic horseshoe tank. It was built in 1942 and collects rain water in its 8ft walls for the cattle in the area. Lots of beautiful rock cliffs and even a naitive american matate in a large boulder along the trail. 4x4, air down tires , and high clearance is a must to reach the end!
