Trail Overview

Horse Thief Canyon Road is an 8.4 mile out and back trail that follows the wash up to a rock formation which can be used for bouldering, and is a primitive camping area. The Trailhead is an improved parking area, this is a popular hiking area with trails going down to the Colorado River. The Offroad trail is mostly loose sand with rocks under 12" in height. This trail is passable by most 4WD vehicles and some high clearance AWD vehicles.
