Trail Overview

Grand Wash Cliffs is a 14.4-mile point-to-point trail that skirts the edge of the Grand Wash Cliffs Wilderness area. This is a great trail that gives expansive views of the Pakoon Basin and the Grand Wash Cliffs. It is very common to see wildlife such as Burros and Coyotes on this trail. The trail has several areas of erosion damage up to 12" in depth, and several washes with rocks up to 12 inches in height to negotiate. Grand Wash Cliffs trail passes several waterholes for livestock;take caution when passing those areas.
