Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 25 is an easy trail through a large open area, giving you plenty of opportunities to see wildlife like elk, deer, big horn sheep, and pronghorns. FS 25H is slightly more difficult with a narrower road and a couple of areas that were washed out by rain. There are amazing views on a cliff's edge that allow you to see for miles. There are areas where you can see trees that were struck by lightning. It is an out-and-back trail.

Difficulty
Forest Service Road 25H has a single lane with minimal spots to pass for about 3/4 of a mile, and it is on a ledge. There are also areas with ruts and holes, but nothing major. These could change depending on the amount of rain and snow throughout the area.
History
There is the Caldwell Cabin along FS 25H that was built in the 1920s and added onto in the 1940s. It was once a homestead that can now be rented on the Forest Service website.
