Trail Overview

This two-track branches off Connor Wash and climbs up onto the ridge with a moderately rocky ascent out of the wash. Along the climb, a few washouts create mild off-camber sections, but nothing overly difficult. The road transitions into a wider shelf road as you gain elevation, offering beautiful views of Angel Wings, the Sierra Anchas to the east, and the Salome Wilderness to the north. At the top, you’ll find several large, open, flat camp spots with incredible 360-degree views from the highest point of the trail.

This trail is rated 3/10 due to the rocky climb, mild off-camber washouts, and shelf road sections. While generally manageable, drivers should be comfortable with uneven terrain and gradual elevation gain.
