Trail Overview
This trail is a mix of rocky and sandy two-track that passes through a small wash early on, with very little elevation change along the route. A few good dispersed camping spots are scattered along the trail, and you'll have great views of Aztec Peak and the Angel Wings rock formation high on the ridge above. As you continue, the trail narrows and becomes sandier with tighter trees lining the corridor. There is one notable drop as you enter a more open section of the wash. The route eventually ends at a reasonable turnaround spot, although the track technically continues farther down the wash. Beyond that point, the terrain becomes extremely rocky and difficult to navigate. Since part of this trail is a wash, the terrain in that section will be subject to change as debris washes down the canyon after storms and changes the trail.

Difficulty
This trail earns its rating due to the mix of sand, small rocky sections, and the drops into the wash near the end. While most of the route is straightforward and easy, drivers should be comfortable with sandy wash driving, tighter tree corridors, and steep sandy declines/inclines into the wash.
