Trail Overview

The first half of the trail is relatively straightforward, though drivers should expect some pinstriping and off-camber sections when passing through the washes. As the route continues, it transitions into open grasslands, where the terrain becomes noticeably sandy and dusty. The area is home to abundant wildlife, and it is common to spot jackrabbits darting across the landscape, along with well-worn livestock trails weaving through the terrain. The trail lacks amenities such as trash disposal, water supply, and limited cell service.
