Trail Overview

Forest Road 144 is a wide washboard road that leads through the Kaibab National Forest. Along this road, there are no obstacles whatsoever. You'll see beautiful vistas of the San Francisco Peaks and their lesser hills, all the while spotting antelope and cattle grazing. Cell service (Verizon) is spotty but have no fear, as there is signage and markers along this route.
