Trail Overview

This is the more challenging way to get to Quartzsite's Deer Run. If you are coming from the south, towards Deer Run, the trail starts fairly easy and gets increasingly harder. The beginning is an easy-going gravel road that turns into an uphill rock crawl with a several-foot-tall rock ledge to climb. There is also a very narrow section between two boulders to pass and several washes to cross. The view of the KOFA Mountains and La Paz valley is incredible from here.
