Crucifixion #9703

Crucifixion is a desert two-track for vehicles 50 inches wide or less, accessed directly from the Hayfield Draw OHV staging area. The trail is a decent width for ATVs, even though it looks mostly ridden by dirt bikes. It's full of big loose rocks in the trail at times, but also has many sections that are rock-free. You'll need to watch out for washouts and ravine crossings since this type of terrain can change drastically after flash floods. There are a couple off-camber washouts, and a section of shelfier off-camber trail when it goes around the side of a hill that could be more difficult for an ATV. Even though it's pretty rocky, it's a pretty easy trail for a dirt bike or ATV. It goes through rolling hills filled with mesquite shrubs and juniper trees, and is mostly flat, with lots of curves. There are a couple of hills that are slightly steeper, but it only changes a couple hundred feet in elevation.
