Trail Overview

This tight and winding trail, an offshoot of Marshall Lake Road, makes for a fun half-day challenge. Some deep ruts, small ledges, jutting tree roots, and sharp rocky sections lead you back to a beautiful and sprawling view of Marshall Lake and the surrounding areas.

This trail is exceptionally narrow in a stretch running along a mountain with a sharp deep off. Just hope you don’t meet someone going in the opposite direction because there is no place to pull aside and someone is going to ended up driving the trail in reverse for a half mile looking for a place to pull over. I do not recommend trying this trail in rainy or wet conditions as one could get stuck.
