BLM 39160

BLM 39160 is a scenic trail that begins at the top of BLM 38064 and winds through a beautiful cholla field on a wide, mostly flat two-track gravel trail. The route offers expansive desert scenery, rolling mountains, and towering Saguaros along the way. A few washouts and minor ruts are present, but there are no technical obstacles. This is an excellent trail for a new 4x4 driver or anyone looking for a relaxed Sunday drive through the desert to add to a full network of trails. This trail eventually dead ends at a private property gate marked to remain closed. The access is intended only for property owners traveling to their properties. With its open desert views, unique Saguaro formations, and peaceful surroundings, this trail is a great spot to stop for lunch or enjoy a beautiful desert sunset.
