Trail Overview

This trail is fairly easy for any high-clearance 4x4 vehicles. A stock Jeep or 4Runner could do this trail, as well as any SXS. There are rutted areas that can become muddy and possibly flood in wet conditions. Further down the path, it will split to take you up towards Williams or down towards Jerome. From there, you can decide which route you'd like to take.

Difficulty

There are rocky areas with rutted trails and loose rocks. Some areas can become very muddy in wet conditions and some areas are flood-prone.

Trail is fairly maintained. Dirt roads not even trails. Saw little 2wd Toyota Tacoma’s the small ones and even cars make the trip. Never took it out of 2wd. Would feel comfortable taking an a stock suv with awd down it. Great views just mainly driving on a dirty road. Would rate this trail an easy 1-2. Tool it from chino valley to Jerome. Follow the 70 or perkinsviller road out of chino valley head west until you hit dirt then follow until it dead ends roughly 15-20 miles hook right and follow into Jerome.

super easy dirt road. probably a 1 or 2 definitely not a 6. you can go pretty smooth at constant speed and it's lot of fun..

The county has recently graded many of the roads in the area including this trail. You could easily take a 2WD car on the trail currently. There’s still a few bumps here and there, but nothing of note.

Trail is a 1, maybe a 2 at most. Trail is a dirt road maintained by the county. A sedan could drive this trail

this trail IS NOT A "6". this trail is a 1-2. its literally just a dirt road. any front wheel drive car with modest clearance can do this very scenic drive to Jerome

Don’t know why this trail is rated so difficult. It’s wide, a little rocky in places, but if you air-down it’s no problem. I took this trail in the past with a Honda Accord…
