Trail Overview

This challenging trail can be connected with the West Preacher Pass to make a loop back to the valley. It's more difficult than WPP since it has steep rocky washouts. Long sections of sandy washes. There is a steep rocky hill climb and tight blind corners. The canyon is beautiful, with forests of Cholla cactus and some challenging sections. No cell service. Bring lots of water, and be sure to keep your eyes out for Rams on the hillsides.

This trail is no joke! I was moseying along in two wheel drive until I came to "the climb". Immediately went from 2H to 4L and stayed in 4L the rest of the day all the way to Brenda. I started at Plomosa Rd and went towards Brenda. Took this cut over and then the main pass trail. This rock climb was no joke... but it was a baby compared to the climbs on the main trail. 4-door JK, 3.5" lift and 37" KO2s. Tons of fun, but not for the faint of heart. If you have a SxS you'll have a much easier time.
