AZ Peace Trail Main Canal to Martinez Lake Southern Section

This section of the Arizona Peace Trail passes through a rough rocky, narrow wash with sharp rocks, tight turns, and loose sand. The section begins to the south in an open area with some dispersed camping right next to the canal. Once you pass into the wash, it becomes very narrow, and the trail surface changes to a sharp tall rock garden. There is a bypass that seems to have steep-off camber sections to it. So the choice is a super-narrow rock garden, or long hill climbs with off-camber sections. The choice is yours.
