Trail Overview
This is a short ATV trail through a hard-packed sandy wash with lots of brake bumps and small rocks. It goes through a pretty barren desert landscape with creosote bushes, brittlebush, and paloverde trees, with views of the desert peaks in the distance. Watch your handlebars against the spikey bushes. The wash continues at the base of some rolling green hills, and then climbs up one of the hills out of the wash, onto a small ridge line elevated above the desert floor. It is scenic riding on top of the ridge overlooking the washes below. There was a random abandoned car to the side of the trail at one point. The trail ends when it connects to a wider dirt road. This trail is entirely unmarked, with no signs indicating the width designation, so watch out for other trail users, and use a map, as there are lots of unmarked intersections, especially in the wash. This trail is on Arizona State Trust Land, which requires a permit for recreation from the Arizona State Land Department.
Difficulty
This trail is very easy. There are no big obstacles, only a few deeper ruts, sand, and minor loose rock.
