Trail Overview
This is one of the easier ATV trails in this part of the Prescott National Forest. The south end of the trail starts at the end of the road 9807B, and it continues as a wide trail through the juniper and scrub oak, on smooth, easy dirt, with gentle flowy curves. The trail rides in a sandy wash for a segment, curving along a dirt bank. It exited the wash onto the next hillside. There is minor loose rock at times in the wash, and on the dirt segments of the trail, with small softball-sized rocks loose in the trail, but in general, this trail is much less rocky than many of the intermediate ATV trails in the area. The trail looks well-trafficked and is easy to follow. On the north end, it turns back into a road designation before connecting to Indian Spring Road. The trail is wide and gradual for the whole route, making it very easy and approachable for newer riders.
Difficulty
The entire 4-mile route is easy and manageable for all riders. Expect a few rutted sections, minor small rocks, and easy curves.
