Trail Overview
9602A is a rocky, one-lane trail that transitions into ditches and experiences some erosion along the route. The trail cuts through a pasture with tall grasses, offering a peaceful and rugged drive. It requires careful navigation due to uneven surfaces and ditches that can make for tricky sections. With no cell service in the area, be sure to download offline maps before heading out. The trail ends at a locked gate mere feet from I-17, with no access, making it an out-and-back trail.
Difficulty
This trail is one lane and unmaintained. While there are plenty of places to pass and/or turn around, please remember if you must leave the trail to TREAD LIGHTLY as this area is fragile and prone to lasting damage. There are no major obstacles along this trail, though some of the erosion and rocky places may become more exacerbated after or during a monsoon storm or major moisture event.
