Trail Overview

Trail 31098 begins off Trail 31047 “Hellgate Wilderness Trail”. This in-and-out trail runs on Bureau of Land Management and Arizona State Trust Land. Make sure you have your permit as you cross into the State Trust Land boundaries. The trail follows a narrow sandy wash that is very tight and overgrown with vegetation. This trail is not recommended for vehicles with roof racks. Walls of rocks align this trail as well as the famous Palo Verde trees. Pin stripes will occur. Trail 31047 ends at the private property line.
