Nemo - 6267

Nemo - 6267 Starts at Zimovia Highway and is a one-lane nicely maintained gravel road that offers a lot of Recreational opportunities. Nemo 6267 connects to four spur roads four designated camp areas with seven very nice campsites and access to more as well as access to 3 hiking trails. There are options for towing trailers and RV's on this road for camping (check with the forest service which campsites would work for your trailer or RV size. Yunshookuh Loop offers good cell phone reception (check on the carrier as some are better than others on the Island). Nemo 6267 does a loop passing through trees, muskeg, over streams, and has areas overlooking the Zimovia Strait. It is a very scenic drive. This is a one-lane road so be mindful of others and share the road. There are many pull-out options to allow vehicles to pass. Wildlife is seen here. Practice Bear safety and watch for deer and porcupine on the road. This is a rainforest and weather can change at any time. In all seasons plan for rain and be prepared for stormy weather. Watch for changes in road conditions.
