Trail Overview

Stairway to Heflin is a gradual stair-step style route that is fun to play on while others are on surrounding trails like Loop Springs, Rock and Roll, and Crow's Nest. If the rock faces are wet, the difficulty can increase and require drivers to use more skinny pedal to shimmy up the obstacle. The approach angle at the beginning creates the most difficulty in starting up the trail, but once on the obstacle, keep momentum to traverse it in one shot.

Difficulty

This trail is deemed a 6 only because of the initial start to the main climb being around 3 feet tall, and there are no other lines to take. There isn't much depth needed between each stair step, so once on top of the ramp-like approach, the difficulty drops the further up you go. The short steep grade stays present until the top of the trail where it flattens out 100%.
