Trail Overview

Sinking Ship is a dual drop trail - drop in to enter and drop in to exit. Once you are inside the middle portion of the trail, both exits are uphill. This means when the rain comes down, the exit off the trail will become increasingly difficult. Sinking ship offers beautiful mountainside views of the eastern mountainside, exposing the natural beauty of Russellville, Alabama.

Difficulty

There are little to no obstacles on Sinking Ship. The main obstacles will be the hill climbs in and out of the trail. When the wet difficulty rating would increase, but the technical rating would stay the same.

THIS IS NOT 2/10!!! I drug the dif on a stock Land Cruiser on 33” tires. This is very much a hero climb getting out. THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS TRAIL WHEN WE CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE. HE SAID THE GUY WHO MAPPED IT MADE UP MANY NAMES. This trail is actually the end of titanic and there is a bypass which is labeled as the exit/enter to titanic but this is the true trail.
