Trail Overview

This is the big kahuna ... RBD is the toughest and most well-known hill climb Morris Mountain ORV Park has to offer. RBD is the one that fully-built buggies attempt and sometimes come tumbling back down. This vertical rock face trail has an extremely deep undercut that actually has filled in, making it easier than in the past--but that isn't saying much. Morris Mountain features offroad events that will have that undercut dug back out in no time. Shale and mica rock make the rock face like walking on marbles! Stand at the bottom, look up, and say to yourself: "Do I have what it takes to attempt RBD?"

Difficulty

The rock face is so vertical that you can hardly walk it on all fours! This obstacle is over 18 feet tall with slickrock throughout.

History

RBD got its name from an event the park put on many years ago, but has been known to be an acronym for "Real Big Drop."
