Trail Overview

#7b Southern Diamondback is another trail in a series of "snake" trails that all run basically parallel up the rocky mountainside. This trail is a rocky climb that ends at #11 Frame Twister, where you can turn left to continue up and exit to the main trails. There are multiple rocky sections and also one particularly nasty rock ledge that has been rutted out over the years. There is a bypass, but it is not much easier. The trail is also very narrow in some areas, with a chance to lean your vehicle into trees or the embankment.
