Corre a las Montanas

Corre a las Montanas begins as a wide, sandy wash framed by desert scrub and gradually narrows as you head deeper into a scenic canyon. The soft sand can be deep in places, demanding steady throttle control and momentum. As the trail progresses, stunning multi-brown hued rock formations rise on both sides, closing in and creating a dramatic, enclosed desert passage. Along the way, the wash is lined with dense clusters of hardy desert vegetation, including creosote bushes, desert ironwood, smoke trees, cardon cactus, ocotillo, and blue palo verde. The terrain rises steadily--climbing over 500 feet from an elevation of 423 to 975 feet--as the canyon tightens and twists through the rugged mountains.
