Matancitas - Candelaria

This is one section of connecting trail, called La Candelaria, which is a small farmers' community that is in the middle of the Baja Sierras.This section has nice views, and is very fun to ride! It's pretty much all compact dirt, with some loose rocks, lots of curves, and hills.The surface can change drastically when it's the rainy season. So my advice is to always ask a local for the trail conditions if you are on a 4-wheel vehicle of any kind. Things can get very challenging even on a dual sport or dirt bike. They used to do maintenance after heavy rains.In the summer, things get much easy for all kinds of 4WD vehicles.Landscape change also dramatically depending on the season you go.
