Trail Overview

Off of Highway 104, take a right down Pineo Drive in Burtt's Corner. Pineo Drive will turn into a logging road, turning into Pioneer St. The first hydro line you cross will be the one that this trail winds along. The trail has steep inclines, descents, loose rock, and lots of mud. At the end of the trail, you cross a small stream and pass the burnt-out ruins of the old Royal Road Riding Stables.

Trail was good for the first 1.6 km then you cross a private road and pass a woodpile and the whole hydro turns into muskeg that doesn’t seem to have much of a bottom at all, not sure how to get around it and continue on down to royal road. ended up stuck for some time before getting winched out, trail is rated green but I’d say this section of trail is impassable. (46.0396066, -66.8157635) pin where it seems impassable. Land owner stated he’s pulled 5 people out just this last month
