Trail Overview

This trail takes you from the quiet Pineo Drive subdivision to an old pit road. Following it up will take you up the mountainside and to an old logging road. This trail eventually is submerged by a beaver dam, which is about 32 inches of water fording depth. Once across it, the road continues until it turns into a well-used path through the woods, and back down to where Claudie Road meets the hydro lines.

The beaver pond with the caution ice crossing sign was the dryest point on the trail today. The bus was deep enough to submerge our flat fender in camouflaged holes in the middle of the trail. The spring thaw was especially quick this year.
