Trail Overview

This trail features very big washouts, large rocks, exposed tree roots, and a bowl obstacle that may not have a bypass if the vehicle is too large. There is potential for body damage on many parts of the trail; some of the washouts will put your vehicle at a 22-degree angle and bring you very close to rubbing your side against a dirt bank full of broken branches. The trail also features some decent-sized mud holes that are not solid bottom and may catch you off guard. The bowl obstacle can be bypassed, but as mentioned, if your vehicle is too large, you may not fit in the bypass; the bowl is not an easy obstacle. It will make you wheel lift and is not recommended for vehicles without lockers; it is very easy to get body damage on this obstacle as well as the bypass. There is a small creek crossing with some rocks that may get you hung up with lower clearance 4x4s. SxS and ATVs will have a much easier time on this trail than a full-size 4x4; however, this is not a federated trail and all vehicles and bikes are allowed.

Difficulty

The bowl obstacle may not be bypassed if your vehicle is too large, and body damage is still possible even with smaller vehicles. The rest of the trail is still not for the faint of heart, with some very large washouts and deep mud holes. At least a rear locker is recommended, and a working winch is also a good idea.
