Trail Overview
Not for the faint of heart, this trail features extreme and near-constant elevation change for a long stretch. The trail follows a cliff that falls almost 1000 feet down, with only thin trees stopping a vehicle from rolling down; it gets very narrow in this cliff section, with only a foot of room before your tire falls off. Careful wheel placement is crucial here, there are some small rock steps and tree roots that could push you closer to the edge of the cliff as well. There are some hillclimbs, 20 degrees in pitch with very large washouts that will put a open differential full size vehicle to the test.
One spot will put you off camber at around 15 degrees towards the cliff edge, however it feels worse than it really is.
There is one section as well that has a switchback style to it that will have you do a 3-point turn next to a cliff; short wheelbase vehicles could make a full turn here. Small water holes no deeper than a foot and small stones to crawl over in some sections.
Entrance on Moosebog side is very overgrown.
