Trail Overview

Widowmaker Start is a moderate trail that eases riders in the Widowmaker system. The trail is fairly straightforward, with no major high-consequence obstacles. There is one particular steep section that will test riders' abilities, but nothing that a controlled throttle can't handle. Widow Maker is a fairly smooth, confidence-building trail that is well-suited for intermediate riders. As always, there are loads of roots, but all are easily manageable on this one.

Difficulty

This is an approachable and forgiving trail while still offering some mild challenges. The loose, steeper sections and occasional rocks and roots require basic bike control without demanding too advanced of skills.
