West Woss Road

West Woss Road is a graded gravel trail that begins more than two vehicles-wide and is lined with large pine trees, vibrant vegetation, and colorful wildflowers along the ridge. This opening section provides sweeping views of surrounding hills and distant mountains, with parts of the trail running alongside a dramatic cliff edge overlooking valleys below. As the trail progresses deeper into the forest, it narrows and becomes more enclosed by towering trees. The route follows the Nimpkish River for a portion, offering serene riverside scenery. The road surface is mostly smooth but includes some washboard sections that can create a bumpy ride. Several side spur trails branch off the main road, inviting exploration into quieter areas filled with natural beauty.
