Trail Overview
The Squamish River Forest Service Road (FSR) serves as the primary access point to the scenic High Falls Creek Trail. It is a well-established route in the Squamish region, suitable for year-round outdoor recreation. In winter, the FSR is often covered in snow, making snowshoes ideal for a comfortable trek through the serene, snow-covered landscape, with the Squamish River flowing beside you. The hiking route is moderately challenging with snow accumulation, requiring proper snowshoeing gear. In summer, the FSR transforms into a picturesque hiking route, gradually gaining elevation and offering stunning views of surrounding forests, mountains, and river valleys. As you approach the junction for High Falls Creek, the trail becomes slightly more challenging, but the reward is the beautiful waterfall views and the peacefulness of the area.
