Trail Overview
Gordon River Road North is a wide, well-maintained logging road that follows the course of the Gordon River through a lush and varied landscape. Primarily composed of compacted gravel, the trail offers a smooth ride and is easily navigable by most vehicles, making it an ideal option for beginners or scenic cruisers. One side of the road is lined with tall trees and dense vegetation, while the other reveals sweeping views of active and historical clear-cut areas, providing a striking contrast between managed forestland and natural regrowth. The river occasionally comes into view, offering peaceful moments alongside the flowing water. With its generous width, this route allows for easy two-way traffic and provides plenty of room for pullouts, breaks, or scenic photos.
