Trail Overview
This double track is a tad more challenging than others nearby in the area. The trail ends up with beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains, and gets into higher country. Along the way are numerous loose rock and scree climbs that make it hard to hold a line and carry momentum. Although relatively easy, I wouldn't jump at sending a beginner into it. The higher up you get, the more faint bits of trail become. It remains double track the entire time, but some sections become heavily overgrown or less used to almost appearing single track. It ends up at a very cool cabin. To continue on the second half of the trail (upper half), at what appears to be a turnaround point, you just ride through what feels like a small tunnel of brush. It opens back up after 10 yards or so. This is a fun trail for getting higher up in the mountains and cruising.
