Trail Overview

Deep Dark Hole is a more technical intermediate trail in this zone. It has a higher concentration of spicy little root punches. Overall, the trail is moderate speed and meanders, but throughout, there are intermittent sections of thick and large roots to navigate. Some are easy and popping over, some around, and some through. It does have a few steep pitches as well that all happen to also contain some root ledges. Really fun middle of the ground difficulty and tech trail. Great to tie in with Wahoo and Heads Up.
