Trail Overview

The route follows a rocky trail with several small rock ledges and a gradual, sustained climb toward the peak. Multiple camping spots are available along the way, including 15 sites at Lodgepole Lake. Initial grades range from approximately 4–6%, increasing to 8–12% in steeper sections as elevation is gained. Surface conditions vary, with potholes, puddles, washboarding, and loose material present, particularly in areas with poor drainage.
