Description
This trail is part of the South Trail System along with the Openfield Trail and the Overlook Trail. Combined with the North Trail System, these trails make up the Horse/Bike trail system of the park. Take caution when approaching horses--always announce your presence and stop while the horse passes you. This loop starts off of the Openfield Trail and traverses from the grassland environment into a stand of pleasant hardwoods.
