Description
You can start at the top or bottom of the mountain. If starting at the top, there is a short, easy section with multiple, small overlooks and a nice stone-covered sitting area. Following the trail past the shelter involves dropping down into a small cave which has a wooden ladder (but it's not mounted, so don't trust it as it's maybe a 3-4 ft. drop). From there, you go down a small, wooden ramp and follow a small, rocky trail that follows the cliff face. The trail involves some rock scrambling and there is a fairly shear drop-off to one side on most of the trail, so I wouldn't recommend it for inexperienced hikers. There are plenty of rocks, roots, and slopes that get very slick when wet, so I recommend going only in dry weather.
