Description
Watch for two-way traffic on this mostly smooth, dirt track with nicely bermed switchbacks and just a few small areas of smooth, exposed bedrock. There are some significant elevation changes just below Skyline Parkway (paved road), but they are not too difficult to climb. This segment is not as deeply shaded as some other portions of the Duluth Traverse.
