Brewer Park Loop

With many viewpoints of the city below and an ideal length for those looking to stretch their legs, the Brewer Park Loop is located in West Duluth just above the Skyline Parkway. The hike is a part of the Superior Hiking Trail that also has many mountain biking routes nearby. The hike is well marked and easy to follow. From 40th Avenue West and Haines Road, there's a small parking lot on the east side of the road just a short ways north of the Skyline Parkway. From the parking lot, follow the paved trail north; it will veer down below the road. Cross the roadway through the tunnel and follow the blue markings along the trail. After the trail passes through aspen and maple forests, it will open up with stunning views of the city of Duluth and the St. Louis River.
