New Deal Trail

The access point off US 70 has no dedicated parking. Enter through the opening in the fence next to the sign. The trail moves through some oaks and across a small footbridge. The trail continues intermittently through wooded areas and open areas with cedar trees a few ruts and a few roots. There is a creek crossing where a bridge has washed out and has been replaced with a single board between a couple of rocks. There is more back and forth between woods and open area until getting to the northern trailhead.
