Connemara Meadow Nature Preserve

The trail starts at Suncreek Park in Allen where you travel less than half a mile before turning to the right where you cross a bridge. The entrance to the Connemara Meadow is directly past the bridge on your left. The singletrack trail winds briefly through an old growth pecan stand, then follows a mowed path around the outskirts of the meadow. There is some brief elevation gain on the southwest end since the meadow is terraced. The trail can be wet in places as well as presenting many tripping hazards via small holes created by the local wildlife, mainly armadillos. At the end of your trip around the meadow, you exit in the same location you entered.
