Kakiat Trail

The trail starts out gentlly from Tuxedo to Seven Lakes Drive, then gets very rocky with a few easy scrambles around Cascade of Slid. This is also the most interesting part, as the trail approaches and crosses a stream Other than that scramble section, footing and terrain are mostly easy. It comes close to the popular Pine Meadow Lake and then turns south, eventually ending up at Montebello. It offers access points to many other Harriman trails.
