Description
Short but steep incline up to a lookout on Quartz Mountain. Great opportunities for scrambling and viewing wildlife. Built by the Youth Conservation Corps in the 1970s, the trail also includes a historic cobblestone structure. This is where the CCC and WPA stored dynamite as the park was being built in the 1930s and 1940s.
