This is the start of the path that winds through the woods around the lake. This portion is 1.7 miles, and is roughly .2 miles away from where the trail ends near the entrance to the park.

This is the lot where I parked and started my walk. There's another larger lot further up the road closer to the official start of the trail.

Public restrooms, tables, and sand volleyball, and piers over the lake are all available at the start of the trail near the larger parking lot.

A nice paved trail around the well-forested lake. It's a surprisingly secluded bit of nature and a pleasant hike.

Description
This is a short but very pleasant and well-forested paved path around the Marshall Lake. The path is 1.7 miles around the full circuit starting and ending at the main parking area. Most of this trail is among the trees making it a great option for hot summer days. This is a fairly new path and is already very popular among hikers and runners. You'll also find plenty of places for fishing and kayaking.
